AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. CANON: Tales of the Abyss
BLURB:
- 17 year old rich kid, was homeschooled all his life along with his twin (does not have to be identical or even same gender cough cough).
- This is mostly because he was in a massive accident at 10 years old that caused complete amnesia, making him have to relearn everything from walking to talking, and forgot all of his childhood friends.
- He has a tiny bit of a scar peeking out from under his bangs, his hair hiding the rest of it.
- Because of this, Luke's somewhat childish for his age, though is still trying to learn. The thought of going to school both embarrasses and intrigues him; it'd be nice to know what actual public school is like, but that would also mean a 17 year old guy sitting in a class of people much younger than he is.
- His situation frustrates the hell out of him, so he escapes by going on the internet a lot or being glued to his phone to text with his friends or play some mobile games. Video games are his biggest source of escapism.
- He's somewhat rude and spoiled since his parents enable the escapism and get him what he wants, though having his twin around has dampened it, so he's not too horrible. It's mostly just a symptom from how angry he is about his dumpster fire of a life.
- Not sure if he should have long hair or keep it short tbh
LOOKING FOR: Friends! His twin! Parents! Homeschool teachers! People willing to put up with his shit!
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: Apping here for me is very iffy, since I have another game and my attention span is a mess, but - maybe?!

KUKKI IT'S TY AND AHHHHHH also jesus I just realized that these two would be name twins. Anyway I kind of want to pick up Luke and wrap him up in a blanket oh my god, but I like this variation of him in conjunction with the Abyss canon. IF YOU DID FIND THE TIME AND WANTED TO APP I could offer one (1) slightly less than mature 23 year old that would be willing to put up with Luke being a brat because this Luke is also a brat. Alternatively they could be internet friends somehow or something?

LUKE...is an idiot, haha. In all seriousness Luke's lived in Recollé his entire life, he's 23, currently he's the owner of Cabin 11 which is a bar that he's revamped to have hours for minors and normal bar hours for alcohol, he's from an upperclass family with a traveling businessman of a father who's usually absent and a mother who's super-duper involved in the community so he and his NPC sister (who's about 16-17) tend to go to a bunch of fundraisers and charity and community events and stuff...honestly he could easily know Luke's family by proxy of both of them being from rich upbringings?
Granted one of the other things he does is he fences (was part of the high school's fencing team, sometimes still does it whenever he feels like it) and also he's been working with kids in a summer daycamp kind of thing for at almost 10-ish years (so roughly since he was 14 so Luke would have been about 8 if my math is right.)
SO BASICALLY...he's kind of everywhere and flexible? Canonically he's a demigod whose dad is Hermes who was kind of a jack of all trades so I crafted his AU to kind of have Luke dabbling in a ton of stuff o:
