CHARACTER: Nea D. Campbell
CANON: D.Gray-man
BLURB:

Nea has lived in Recolle all his life, he's 17 years old and enrolled in high school, but takes several post-secondary classes at the local university.

Comes from a BIG family (like 14 siblings or so) and he's one of the younger kids if not the youngest. He was actually either adopted or the result of an affair. Either way, his mom decided not to tell him but he kinda figured it out. It's made his relationship with his parents a bit strained.

His relationship with his family is mixed. Some of his family absolutely love him, others are not so fond, others are somewhere in the middle.

Gifted at music and engineering. It's basically a given that he's going to get a free ride into college if he doesn't screw things up somehow.

Nea is the sort of guy who will do anything for those he's close to, but screw everyone else. He's also that guy that lays out a carefully thought out plan of action- and then just forgets it to do something impulsive and rash because something made him feel strongly.

I am open to suggestions to what the "D" stands for. The stupider the better.

LOOKING FOR: Siblings of course! Also fellow classmates and friends. He's one of those types who doesn't have a lot of friends, but the ones he does he's fiercely close and loyal to.
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: If I find time to app, I'm torn between him and Allen (

redarm), so help me decide? My main hang-up with Nea is that the canon is on-going and there's a lot of mysteries involving his backstory- but I feel like there's been enough chapters where I at least have a good handle of his personality.

What if the "D" is just "D". Some people do that, you know.

Or maybe it's "Diamond" because his mother was having a phase

ROFL to be honest i could see it.

Or it just changed every time his mom got asked, so even to Nea it's a mystery.

Nea sees his birth certificate and it's like this huge reveal

"... it's just D?"

So Nea would either be the type of person that Celeste would really respect or would kind of grate on her. She's one of those "works harder than she really needs to to be perfect" types, especially when it comes to her music, so someone who has a natural gift... it could go one of two ways. Depending on how present he is in the community, I could see them at least running into or knowing about one another.
