Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! CHARACTER: Daiki Aomine
CANON: Kuroko no Basuke
BLURB:
- 17 years old, second year high school student, born and raised in Recollé all his life;
- lives with overly fussy parents who will do anything to see him succeed in life; continues to have shit grades despite their best efforts, though;
- needs tutoring for life, maybe a big babysitter, too;
- a sports genius, possibly a captain in his school club;
- since Certain Canon Events didn't happen, his personality remains a lot like his younger canon self: not as much of an asshole(!), actually friendly(!!), probably a decent senpai/mentor figure. Still thrives in competition, though, and is every bit as confident in his skill;
- has a strong sense of justice, will punch bullies in the face;
- currently waffling between following a career in professional sports or going to the Recollé Police Academy for a more respectable, parent-approved job (in which he still gets to punch bullies in the face);
LOOKING FOR:
- help with AU'ing a mostly ordinary character from a normal world into another normal world tbh;
- his sport of choice will proooobably still be basketball, but I'm open to discussion with possible castmates;
- that said, I'D LOVE CASTMATES!!! Especially from original canon, but other sportsmates would be great, let all sports join a Recollé-only made-up sport. Like quidditch in HP or something.
- also would love for someone to take on the role of fussy parents;
- friends!! rivals!! enemies??? anything goes!!
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: It's down between this one and another character I might post later. decisions are hard.

Yato would tutor Daiki if Daiki would hire an obvious bum?? He'd actually be a competent tutor, if a somewhat annoying one. It can be a spot tutor too if you're looking for actual schoolmates to tutor him regularly ha

i feel you on AUing mostly normal characters into... more normalcy tbh - most of my AU ideas are coming off the idea of what type of changes and reactions there might be once the memories come back? and how that'll be interesting to reconcile and play out

Sounds like they wouldn't be in the same sport, but I've got Bucky here who's 16 and be on the high school football team. Maybe they'd still know each other at least in passing as like. fellow high school sports kids? do all jocks know each other? is that how high school works? I don't know man, but SPORTS

Bakugou isn't allowed to play sports because of his temper, but he could be a tutor that will 'tutor him until he's a puddle of blood'

They probably don't get along, but Katsuki would enjoying watching Daiki punch people in the face.
