BLURB:
She's a ghost full of VENGEANCE but has amnesia in canon, so...

- 17 years old; lived in Japan until she moved to Recolle.
- She comes from a rich family.
- Her father is a very strict and very busy doctor and her mom is dead. She's used to acting like a reliable big sister to those who are close to her.
- Doesn't have a lot of friends because she was homeschooled, since she used to be bullied when she first arrived for idk being rich and/or weird. Need to work on this.
- Since she bugged her father about it, she's starting regular school again this semester, when the game starts!
- Around others, she's withdrawn. She most likely won't speak unless spoken to. Because of this, she comes across as an enigma to everyone.
- Once you get to know her, she has a playful and devil-may-care personality... because she's bored, lonely and doesn't care about what other people think.
- Doesn't care about most people, honestly.
- Down with the system.
- Would care about you if you befriended her, though. She would care a lot! If you're a cute boy, she might even flirt with you.
- Super athletic, but probably won't join any varsity clubs because she's busy with...
- ...being a famous cosplayer online. ... Don't tell her family.
- LOVES FOOD!!! PLEASE FEED HER!!!!!
- A realist. Jaded about the world. Ghosts don't exist. lol
- Likes cats.

since they both come from well off families how would you feel if they knew each other when they were younger if only because of their families knowing each other solely based on the fact they're Wealthy And Influential

but their friendship could've been kind of genuine rather than just for social reasons like the rest of their family because they're both dont care and down with the system but also kind of lonely

but then one day it's like "oh you're looking for nobu well sorry but she's gone and we don't really know what happened it's so sad we miss her so much"

(it's very obvious they don't care)

and then after she moves to recolle one day she runs into her again and they can be friends again

although now nobu's a lot grumpier and antisocial and also cut ties with all her money so she's livin the poor life

but they can Make It Work

Ooh, I like this! My backstory for Yuuko isn't set in stone just yet but I was also toying with the idea that she was probably disowned by her family, since that's kind of what happens in canon, only worse. They could bond over that if I decide to roll with it. ... I'm leaning toward it now, actually.

ALSO Yuuko probably would have still cared about people more when she was younger... But still rebellious like Nobu is, yeah. LOL

Yuuko would definitely attempt to reconnect with Nobu because she's like, one of the few real friends she had. STOP BEING A SHUT-IN AND HANG OUT WITH HER

This is why I shouldn't post these things in a rush. I'm changing her AU story!

- she's from a rich family who, because of politics, gets banished/disowned by their clan
- so she and her parents move to recolle
- everything is working well for them until her mom dies
- dad is a good guy but super busy with work (he's still a doctor) and also sad about mom
- they say her family is cursed because her relatives in recolle keep dying each year, but she doesn't believe it bc lol curses
- she gets bullied for it though and it sucks
- so she hates ghosts. she would punch a ghost in the face.
- not homeschooled but she definitely becomes more withdrawn and anti-social
- after a while she just started not giving a shit about anything and developed this penchant for mischief, but people don't hang out with her because she's trouble
- seems promiscuous but has never even kissed anyone, actually
- on the fence about the famous cosplayer thing, but she would still have an interest in it
- doesn't know what her dreams are, she just wants to have fun and forget all the bad things in her life!
- lowkey sad about her current state of affairs
- really smart though. she had dreams of becoming a teacher but forgot all about them too.

yu is kind of a reserved guy but REALLY good at getting along with just about anyone, plus he'd be one of those that didn't bully her or even stuck up for her. he spent a lot of his life alone too so he'd sympathize. let him encourage her dreams ok.

LAUGHS HONESTLY, he would take it in stride even if internally he'd be like panicking not having the least idea how to deal with it... he just... stays calm and smiles... probably making it worse.... i want and need this adorable disaster in my life, okay, they need to share a class and like, share notes and strike up a conversation or something, or yu sticks up for her or whatever. whatever makes this both 1) the cutest and 2) most unfortunate.

Hmmm I need a way to figure out the way for (accidentally, in this case) VENGEFUL GHOSTS with canon memory issues to know each other. (thinking)

Problem is, Sakuya's more the big-sister type (and has the age advantage to boot), though she is Experienced in problem children.

It's okay, I say "big sister" but most of the time, she acts like this. IT'LL BE FINE.

Yuuko's dad is a doctor, so I could modify Yuuko's story a bit so that Sakuya and Yuuko are related, maybe? A family of doctors (and vengeful ghosts)! But only AU Yuuko is rumored to be cursed/haunted. Sakuya could be a colleague/family friend, too! I'm okay with anything.

That would be kind of hilarious, I am 100% down for the related thing if we can figure it out and you wanna! Otherwise their families being separate but close could be awesome, too. Either way, get ready to be accidentally called Misaki at some point, Yuuko!

I think the related thing is hilarious too so I am also behind it 100%! How about this: ever since Yuuko's birth, a relative of hers has died each year. The rest of their clan back in Japan thinks she's bad juju so they tell her dad to move to America, where his wife's sister/cousin/whatever Sakuya is. Both her parents and Sakuya think the curse is bullshit, of course, which is why they're okay with this arrangement.

Yuuko's mom dies the year they move. Although her dad still doesn't believe in the curse, he spends less time with Yuuko to finance them both, which Yuuko could misinterpret as him hating her. Enter Sakuya who acts as a motherly figure?

Ooo, that's a good base idea! Then again, even if there was a 'curse', I doubt Sakuya would think too much of it anyway. She's more worried about other people... like Yuuko! Either way, it sounds good. Though, once her memories come back, I think she'll kind of hilariously start to confuse Yuuko for Misaki (who is not actually her daughter idk if you know Fatal Frame 4's canon at all) but either way, it'll be great. I am glad for this opportunity.

Let's go with... Sakuya as... idk is that a second cousin if it's her mom's cousin? I don't remember how those family naming dynamics work. She is happy to pick up something of a surrogate that way!
