CHARACTER: Marian Hawke
CANON: Dragon Age 2
BLURB:
* Marian is a 31 year old police sergeant employed by the Recolle Police Department, and has been employed with the police there since the age of 25, when she moved up from Ireland to give her family a new life and new opportunities in the growing metropolis. She has a younger brother and sister. Their aging father and mother passed away in the years after coming to Recolle, but she keeps in touch with her brother and sister as much as possible.
* Everyone who's ever known Marian would say that she is an upstanding citizen, a pillar of the community, honorable, religious, hard-working, just and fairly even-handed in all of her dealings, the very picture of what people consider to be a good cop. When she's not looking, they would also say that she's a self-righteous jackass of a workaholic without a funny bone in her body. She's humorless, dour and tends to have a very cynical impression of anyone who is in power, convinced that they're not competent to their jobs, and is more than happy to share her opinions on how 'things would be done if I were in charge around here.' She's not a proselytizer, but there's not a Sunday that you won't find her in church, and the woman's always got a medal of St. Micheal on her person at all times.
* Marian is, despite being a hard-nosed and abrasive individual, not a bad cop. She doesn't know the meaning of the word discrimination personally and views all people as being equal in the eyes of the law, regardless of race, gender, age or social strata. Her views on the law tend to be extremely strict and uncompromising, but she endeavors in all dealings to be fair-minded. By the same token, some of her most hated people are drug-lords, gangbangers and corrupt police and politicians. Anyone who preys on the weak is on her immediate shit-list.
* For all of her stubborn and stark perspective on the world, Marian has a soft spot for dogs, small children and the poor. For the latter, she can be seen frequently working in soup kitchens in her off hours and makes an effort to try and help those less fortunate than herself.
* Though she's a good, staunch catholic girl, Marian does appreciate a drink now and then to help cool off after a long day with the force. She's one for familiar old haunts and makes regular rounds at the same bars, though usually ones close to home, where she can easily walk back. You'll never find her drinking and driving.
* She remains unmarried to this day, though she's considered settling down from time to time with an on again off again romantic partner of hers. It's always been a little rocky between them, and they're currently in yet another in a long string of 'cool down' periods, but she's in no hurry to marry.
LOOKING FOR:
-Fellow Cops who she's worked with, or minor city officials she knows.
-Criminals that she's busted who are currently legally on the streets. Informants she's shaken down in the past.
-The spots of her siblings and current romantic paramour are available, if someone is interested.
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME:

I am still tentative about this game. However, Marian is a character I've wanted to play for a long time, and is one of those characters that I am most interested in seeing deal with the complexities and the crises that will naturally crop up when someone's memories return. So, yeah... let's see how this feels.

As a note, for those who wish to know the version of Hawke's Canon that Marian hails from - Here you go. Spoilers for DA 2, obviously.

I'm thinking of having Eva be related to some crime family or something, she can be on a list potentially.

Yes, criminal connections are a possibility, though this feels as much as anything like it's more of a chance meeting, or a case she was involved with, not necessarily a close kinship or antipathy.

Yeah, I was thinking more like she gets checked up on occasionally because she has known mafia connections. Not very personal.
