Mio is actually a good girl and getting him a few things! The first one is going to be a build your own robot kit -- it's something more on the simple end, you're welcome, have fun with that. Something close to this, actually.
He's also getting handknit green sweatervests, too. The present itself doesn't have her name on it on the outside of the green present box, but it's definitely labeled for him. There is a card inside with very nice calligraphy that says:

He's definitely going to get cracking on the robot kit ASAP I'm sure he can power the salt-fueled one for an eternity, and he'll make very good use of his sweatervests! They'll match nicely with the scarf Sakura gave him, anyway eheheh
COUSIN, you're going to get spoiled like crazy this Christmas. Since we can't give gifts to the family, let's just spoil each other.
The first thing he'll receive is a astronomy telescope so he can go stargazing whenever he wants and gets a better look at the stars. Along with that, he's also getting a various assortment of astronomy and Astrophysics related books. He's also getting a new galaxy themed backpack for him to carry his books to school in. His final present will be a multi purpose swiss army knife. He just asks that you be careful with it and don't tell Auntie Li about this. There's also a small IOU note next to the gifts with this message written in it:
It's a shame that we can't taste anything, but whenever we do get our tastebuds back let me know where you want to go and I'll take you to any bakery shop in town.
Jasmine will also be giving him a ton of doggy kisses and snuggles for the lovely dress that she received.
He's probably going to get hugged??? at least, for the briefest of moments, before Xiaolang remembers himself and pretends it never happened, but GGGHHH IT'S TIMES LIKE THESE HE REALLY LOVES YOU, LEON ;-; He's going to take full advantage of the telescope and use it every night and study all the books Leon gave him and take it along to whatever stargazing things they wind up doing too

he's going to get two gifts from her, both books. one is a cookbook about trying to keep up a japanese diet in america that has a bunch of different recipes on how to properly incorporate the two. the second is a book about japanese weaponry. the first one is more of a sincere gift and the second is mostly a joke to all the time she teases him about weapons, but both are pretty good quality and interesting reads.
... ngl, he's going to be HELLA confused whenever he receives her gifts (mostly because ?? they're not friends, why did she even bother buying him anything), and while the second book is going to make him frysquint super hard, he'll actually... really appreciate the first one? Like he bought Fai a few Japanese cookbooks to use for Sakura, and he was tempted to buy a couple himself not because he wants to cook for Sakura or anything JEEZ, so Mimori's gift actually saves him some time and money!
