that sounds exactly like what I was thinking for the ultimate for their failed romantic venture. as for their friendship, dean’s a pretty easy-going guy, and I doubt that he would hold any kind of grudge towards foggy, and in fact counts him as one of those pivotal people/moments in his life because of the part that he played in helping him to clean his act and give up on at least one of his addictions. the bottle is a vice he hasn’t been able to give up on, but for most part, he knows when too much is too much. usually. he would still consider and treat foggy like a close friend, the kind that you can’t do without, and he wouldn’t linger on any of the baggage that might have come from their past “relationship,” had they been different people.
