Yes! I'm making her 15 or 16 because the version I'm apping from just says "high school" and leaves it at that. (Current comic Kara is 16, the last one was 15, the TV one's an adult so that's out.) They could have met somewhere or just bond over their situations and how if you're not a baby your chances of being adopted kind of suck.
