AU WORKSHOP - OCTOBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World changes FAQ • As per our game-wide poll, we will be holding an application round in October and in November! After that, apps will resume their bi-monthly schedule. Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Li-Na is a student at Dance!! She's studied ballet in Hong Kong since she was 4, and has come to Recolle in order to improve her English because she is applying for the university's dance program for next year. Right now she's trying to expand her repertoire and is thus taking jazz at the studio (though she will pretty much always be a ballerina at heart)

And perhaps she also saw him at an international competition?

Turst me, that is absolutely the kind of hijinks Kiryu gets thrown into in canon. "Whoops I guess we're friends now" is basically two steps away from him trying to take her under his wing so WE GOT THIS.

And I mean stealing chocobos is a good cause if you ask me.

I feel like a lot of people at this rate are keeping an eye on her so he wouldn't be the only one at least. But aw honorary sister would be cute, yes. And her actual bro would probably be relieved if he knew others were keeping an eye on her while he is out at lectures/work and all.

Your AU ideas are really cute, I like the hair salon idea. Selvaria here might actually make a potential client. Seeing as they both have pet cats, it could be a good way for them to become friends or even next-door neighbors!

Adding on to what the Draco/Derek player said above, if she's one of his siblings then Foggy will be her cousin. Two relatives for the price of one, what do you say?

Foggy totally is into geeky stuff like Star Wars and anime. She might see him as a boring adult anyway but he'd attempt to be friendly and chat with her about their common interests if it comes up. He's also a teacher at the local high school. If they end up as relatives he would likely not be allowed to be her actual teacher but either way he is around if she needs an adult for some reason.

chiyo has been in recolle since she was a little younger than a toddler, so if you're up for it, it can be after rise moved to recolle since chiyo could've been friendly enough to reach out to her right away. if not, we could do since the beginning of high school or a couple years?

BLURB:
- She doesn't know her biological parents, but was pretty old enough to remember that she had been adopted into a loving family. The youngest child after Ryousuke (handstrike) and Eijun (tire). Their dad wanted to be a rock♥star, moved to the states, then failed his dream and started a farm instead. A little after that, he adopted four year old Juri on the spot. (Discussed with both Sisi/Eijun player and Hayley/Ryousuke player)

- Juri tries to be a good daughter and little sister, she helped around the farm and doing various odd-jobs she's allowed to do, and tries to be on the best terms with both her adopted brothers. In Recolle, she would definitely namedrop them and mention how they're really cool, she really adores them.

- She's transferring schools to Recolle in around October or November, but before that she has never in the city before aside from occasional visits, so she'll definitely be a fish out of water in the meantime.

- Yes, she's likely the one responsible for the cooking in the Sawamura siblings apartment from now on.

- Her hobbies include photography, sewing, cross stitch, and fortune telling. Besides her photography, she likes to post her cross stitch work to her Instagram.

- She played a bit of softball/baseball when she was younger though it didn't really go anywhere. But! She loves the energy and enthusiasm of the game that she joins the school newspaper as the photographer to keep up to date and tries to have the pictures as full of energy.

- Likewise, she'll definitely join the photo club or the school newspaper in Recolle.

- May or may not suggest a love/fortune telling column on said school paper.

- Juri's friendly and a little bit spacey but make no mistake, she can be as much as a spitfire as Eijun or Ryousuke. She can get fired up over her friends' romance or standing up to kids picking on her friends.

- Really is friendly and tries to befriend a lot of people, like she would try to befriend shop clerks or people she met on the bus stop.

- She carries around an old a cat sock puppet in her backpack. Usually just to cheer people up, or to joke with them.

- Average academically wise- maybe slightly low because she sometimes spaces out during class, however active in extracurricular clubs. If she gets a chance to cover an event or the sort, she won't just take pictures of the event but likely strike up to talk the winner of the chess championship or players of the opposing teams so on.

LOOKING FOR:
- Classmates, first friends in a new city, tutors, anything on the school!
- Athletes of the junior high school.
- Maybe your character was the barista/retailer/bus stop person she talks up and befriends?

- She's pretty new so I'm pretty much open to anything.

- Classmates with Noni Sorensen, teaches him photography. Relates because similar pasts.
- Friends with Hinata Morisawa, takes pictures of his gymnastic work.
- Dave Strider is her math tutor, teaches her through songs and sometimes she shows her pictures to him.
- Mutuals with Prompto Argentum on Instagram, a huge fan of his work.
- Became bus friends with Chiyo Matsuoka (Chiyo Sakura), gradually they talk about family and there Chiyo finds out Juri is Ryousuke and Eijun's younger sister.
- Anya makes breakfast for the whole Sawamura siblings, Juri finds her like an older sister figure.
