- Suisei by Daoko - her theme song. I had this song in the back of my mind while writing her app. The mood and lyrics of the song perfectly capture how Sakura lives her life. - That's So Us - Allie X Her relationship with Akinobu Taira in one song. "What I like about you baby / Is how you annoy me daily / But you still fucking amaze me / That's so us!" - Sabotage by Denpagumi. Yes, this is a cover of the Beastie Boys by a Jpop group. This song is completely Sakura in that she's got all these cool samurai skills now and yet she freaks out over mundane things. It's a very threatening song but she's not at a point where you can take her entirely seriously, but you still appreciate her effort.
Okita Souji herself
- Good Days Bad Days by the Kaiser Chiefs. How is someone a cold blooded killer and yet completely cheerful when it comes to it? I completely admit that the first part "Follow the underdog / Hold on his collar tight / This city loves a scrap / One day it's gonna bite" is Okita's life. - Shuukyou by Shiina Ringo. The sublimation of her myth, to become the Heroic Spirit that she is in Fate/verse is bound with a lot of feelings with her mortality. The lyrics are a frantic yet measured look at the transience of life which captures that kind of feeling. - Under a Killing Moon by Thrice. She's a killing machine with the Shinsengumi and this song is all about that. Completely remorseless about it to, if her lord orders it she will do it. Yeah. - Sumatora Keibitai by Soutaisei Riron. If you want a song to summarise the general weirdness of Strange Tales of the Imperial Holy Grail, this is it. Trust me.
