Evangeline A.K. McDowell | Negima/UQ Holder

CHARACTER: Evangeline A.K. McDowell.
CANON: Mahou Sensei Negima/UQ Holder

BLURB:
-Probably going to be native French and named Catherine (more or less canon, the 'K' stands for Kitty or Ekaterina or something and is the only part of her name that isn't obnoxiously meaning-laden)
-Probably going to be a grad student in her late twenties. Holds a multidisciplinary masters in cognitive theory and neural computation (cuz, like, she likes robots in canon guys). Brilliant, but one of those annoying 'idea people' who comes up with the seed of something great but tends to get others to do all the hard work completing it.
-Still undecided whether I'm going to have her teach as part of her graduate program so she gets more opportunities for interaction, or just make her lazier.
-I want to give her criminal connections or something kind of shady.
-While lacking the actual experience of immortality will make her a lot less standoffish, she's still going to be a fairly aloof character who doesn't make friends easily. Substitute a greater sense of intellectual disparity for the sense of moral isolation.
-Kind of vacillates between a worldly tolerance and being extremely judgmental and critical depending on her mood which is another reason she's hard to deal with
-May try to find a way to squeeze her into a sub-college school setting. Maybe advising an afterschool robotics club or something like that. I like to keep her as someone who has trouble dealing with kids when they flout social convention and her aura of unapproachability and act too familiar.

LOOKING FOR: Students, intellectuals to be pretentious with, dogged simpletons to be pretentious at, admirers to feed her ego, people who will puncture her ego. That one character she's good friends with to prove she isn't completely incapable of liking another human being.

OPTIONAL ENABLE ME:

November Annabella Terra (aka Nova, Starcraft's psionic assassin/sexy poster girl mascot) would in some ways play even better with the memory regain setting since her choice to and the ramifications of her having her memories periodically wiped are probably the most interesting things about that character, but she's both superficially and in a lot of her core characterization very similar to Evangeline, while not being nearly as interesting or developed as a character, so probably not.

Vaguely considering Nox (Wakfu) but I don't think I'm that insanely cruel. Also he's my record for fastest I've ever lost all will to play a character before so. Obstacles.
