She would have done her best to help him out and figure out what he wanted to do, but also tried to let him know that he shouldn't feel bad for being unsure of where to go next or what to do now. Everyone has their starts and ambitions at different stages in life after all!

And since Anya is also a former student of hers! So depending on some possibilities, she might have seen Miwa while he was growing up because she tried to keep in touch with Anya which I think could include possible visits at her place to see if she's doing well and she'll also check on Miwa while she was there too if he's alright with that.
