Oh man where do I even begin... Shuji has been such a tremendous help for Jaeger, especially with several things he's (still) working on. He has problems trusting others and opening himself up, especially emotionally, and Shuji's always been really good about listening to him and being one of the first up to bat for him. He really does appreciate everything Shuji's done and said, because Shuji knows when to let things go and not pursue and he also knows when to gently prod Jaeger for more information (which is definitely something he needs). He's always found Shuji to be enjoyable to talk to and be around, but Shuji's more than proven himself repeatedly as a dear friend.

Shuji's also great for bitching with? Oh my god Jaeger sometimes just wants to aggressively bitch about Retrospec and everything else and Shuji is great for that. Shuji also usually lets him know when he's going overboard with it and needs to back off, so he definitely appreciates that too. All in all, Shuji's a wonderful friend and Jaeger's really glad he has him around!!
