Actually, Elliot loves Souji. He's a good friend and a nice guy, he's just a total weirdo too. But Elliot has accepted that, because it's Souji. You know when you talk to Souji, conversations will go places that are not in the least bit normal. You might get accused of whatever thing Souji has decided you are, but thats okay because Souji will still show up later wanting coffee. This is just how life is with Souji, and Elliot has come to terms with it.

He does wonder how many secrets Souji is holding, considering he really doesn't know much about the guy. He thinks about prying, but he is also a pretty private person himself, so he hesitates a lot. He just hopes Souji's okay, and not just in a "please don't eat that thing off the floor" way.
