Oh man I know we haven’t threaded a lot but I really enjoy how you portray your characters! Wesker is the only one I’m passingly familiar with, but Artorius, too, just has a really nice intelligent air about him. I think you write your characters’ intelligence really well without falling into the pitfalls of having them be too stiff or unrelatable to bounce off of, and it’s just something I really admire about the way you write! I’m not that great at being articulate so please just accept me chinhandsing I guess.

We’ve had all of one (1) thread but look. Shinji is wonderful, thank you for calling Malik out. I am completely canon-blind but that was a really fun thread for me. It’s awesome that you apped a kid character into a game since they’re so uncommon, and he strikes that balance of not being too mature for his age but not infantile. I definitely got the “yeah this is a tween” vibes from him but I mean that in the best possible way, haha.

I hit you up on every single one of these and I’m sure by now I’ve gotten repetitive, but I’ll just take that as reaffirming how much I think you’re awesome, Bucky is awesome, I’m so glad we’ve had the chance to play together and for this long, all because these two aggro idiots punched each other during prom. Seeing Bucky go from awkward aggro teen to /gestures, the way he is now has been really fun to watch. I love the way you handle every aspect of his character and the different phases of his life and his experiences from canon; you portray them in a way that’s appropriate to a confused, traumatized person without making it overwrought with angst or anything too heavy. A perfect balance of serious character depth and shitposting 10/10 would play with again, always.

I really, really cannot thank you enough for the Deep Stuff I’ve been able to thread with you. Togusa’s pursuit of justice and dedication to his cause is something I’ve really come to admire, probably because my character is on the opposite end of things. That takes a lot of ooc dedication too, I’m sure, and I commend you for sticking so closely to the plot and being able to take initiative ic and oocly to get involved and figure things out. I really can’t express how appreciative I am of Togusa dealing with Malik’s extensive list of bullshit, and I also love how things always turn into some sort of moral or philosophical debate, haha. It’s fun! I don’t get a lot of opportunities to get cerebral (tryhard or genuinely) in tags, and this CR has been a great avenue for it, and I just! Really want to express my thanks for everything, and how awesome it is that Togusa has been able to do all the things that he has.

I'm really flattered to hear that! I am so glad that my characters have had an impact on yours, because yours have definitely helped mold mine too. It's been real good shit this year, hopefully we'll get a lot more!

I know her more fiesty/pouty side doesn't come out as often but it is there and I don't want to neglect that either even if she is more often that typical optimistic ball of trusting and agreeable sunshine. So that is nice to hear that I'm still showing that aspect of her, especially without Kero around given he is usually who gets her worked up like that, aside from Touya himself.

I've loved our threads too though, Luna. These two are so cute and I am so glad to get to play out this precious ship together with you.

She is very cute. The reason I couldn't resist trying my hand at her when I reread the manga a few years back now. Basically.

But haha, yeah plotting/chat plurks can be fun. I do like hashing things out and/or just throwing ideas out once we get a basic idea for what to expect for the month with events.

I started reading Magi a long time ago and never did catch up, but I remembered enough to figure that Alibaba and Dark Bakura would have plenty in common. After all, they’re both thieves and they come from worlds with similar settings. Lo and behold, I was right! Even though I dropped the ball on the virus thread a while back (which is mostly because I’m not used to writing fight scenes), I’ve still been really enjoying their interactions. Your tags have allowed Bakhura to talk about the elements of his canon that he’s only really gotten to talk about with Malik, as well as his Tragic AU Backstory even if Alibaba has only gotten snippets of what happened in Bakhura’s AU childhood. I think they could both definitely help each other trigger more regains in the future and I look forward to seeing where their relationship goes from here!

Can I just say that I really appreciate how approachable Derek is despite the kind of person Draco Malfoy was in his original canon? Even though Derek has his “established” CR circle, I feel like I can always tag him no matter how long it’s been since he and Bakhura last talked. And even when I can't come up with something for Bakhura to say to Derek's posts and top-levels, I still enjoy seeing Derek talk about what his latest Magical Shenanigans regains are + what other characters he’s assimilated to his constantly growing family!

While I’m admittedly not familiar with any of your characters’ canons and have only threaded with two of them inconsistently, I still wanted to drop in and tell you that I appreciate what they have to bring to the game table! They seem to have valuable skills when it comes to dealing with Retrospec and its enemies, from their combat abilities to simply having good heads on their shoulders (...most of the time, haha) in such a chaotic setting, often acting as much-needed voices of reason even when the rest of our characters are understandably freaking the hell out over the Fuckup of the Month. Their tags also have good hooks that are usually easy for me to respond to -- I’m still laughing about the merman thread we did forever ago in August and want to be better about tagging you more often because I do feel like there’s some potential with what we have had between Wesker and Cumore that I’ve never followed up on!

KELSEY. Where would I be without your encouragement, patience and understanding? I remember impulsively making this account in 2016 thinking that I would never, ever use it because this fandom is such a hot mess, especially on the RP front.

But then. BUT THEN. You not only impulsively made a Malik account, you also almost immediately approached me for a PSL, putting up with a lot of my awkward insecurities while I re-integrated myself into DWRP after my, what? 5-year? hiatus from the scene following my drops from Holly Heights and Ataraxion until I built up the confidence to app into a game again.

And not just any game, but an AU game at a time I wasn’t entirely sure of my portrayal of canon Bakura yet.

But I’m so glad that I took the plunge because I’m enjoying writing again more than I have in a long time (even though I still have my hiccups every now and then), and I definitely want to keep writing with you even after this game is over no matter where we end up going next. Thank you so much for reaching out to me back then, because nothing but good things have come out of it since ❤

I have really enjoyed Anna's and Derek's developing CR. They way Anna refuses to deal with Derek's shit is just amusing and interesting to read and respond to!

And try as I might, I just can't seem to get Derek to express himself right to Al and his an awful older brother. Our threads are just a hot mess of these two not getting each other and it is an interesting RP experience.
