Balancing his maturity with his age has always been a bit of a struggle (especially since his canon likes to forget how middle schoolers act, smh CLAMP), but I'm glad to know that I've been doing okay at it ;u; It's been really awesome seeing the development between these two dumb kids and how far they've come from last year, though! Your Shinji really hits that good spot between showboat-y brat and an actual child with understandable fears in regards to his current situation (especially his NPC parents, oh my god they've been through so much) and it's always been such a joy to thread with you ❤︎
