It's been a complete joy threading with Akira and getting to know you this past year. Your Akira is a delight, and I love how much you bring to the character while still staying true to his canon self. He's so fun and ridiculous, but at the same time you can see why everyone gets drawn to him and thinks of him as leader. Elliot and Akira's CR is some of my favorite in Recolle, and I'm so happy for their friendship. So thank you so much!!

Matt is such a good uncle?! I love watching you RP Matt and see where you take him. It's been really interesting to watch his growth and development over time in Recolle. I'm also really happy that Elliot and him are family thanks to the last AU plot. I would love to do more with them! Your nephew always has your back uncle.

You're really good at getting his voice: his sass, his doormat-y ways, his shonenness- I can hear his voice loud and clear when I read his tags! Just thank you so much, it's been so much fun bouncing Elliot off him, and watching Rean interact with everyone in Recolle as he gets used to things.

Moeblob. Pffft. Well, I mean. She is that typical optimistic, naive, sunshiney type but Sakura still makes mistakes and shows other emotions besides happiness. And I try acknowledge that because even if she is a Magical Girl, she's still only human, and still just a kid at that.

I've really enjoyed all the CR I've gotten with both Elda and Natalia! I love the weird friendship/commiseration that Natalia and James have with each other. And even CR aside, I love that Elda is one of the older characters in the game--she's in a different place in life than so many other characters and that makes for some really refreshing, new opportunities for interacting with her that are so fun!

CELENE!!!! I'm so glad we're in a game and playing off each other again because I really missed tagging you!! I mean, you've already been in game for a while so this isn't like. new or anything. but still! i was so hype to see you join the game and get a chance to tag you!!

I'm totes canonblind and have only really interacted with Anna anyway but I love what CR they have. These two cybernetic edgelords just edging at each other constantly. I love it. I love them. I love these threads!!!

You have this uncanny ability to make any thread funny at any moment. I am so consistently impressed by how you're always adding humor to things, especially where i would absolutely not expect it at all. I still think about that fake comic book story Souji wrote about James. Absolutely wonderful. I feel like we don't tag that often, but when we do I'm always utterly delighted by wherever the thread ends up going!

I can't believe i somehow have CR with all 3 of your characters (although lbr it's mostly with Li-Na right now)

I'm not gonna lie, Li-Na visiting James with a PSL and cake really got me feeling things. She's so caring and tolerant of James's bullshit! I love her and threading with her.

And also we've only done like 2 threads with them but Rinka is an absolute delight and I love her already. I can't wait to play more with her!!!

also I'm just now thinking about it and I feel like you've got pretty wide variety across your character roster, which is really cool and p impressive. Tatsuo is pretty business-oriented on getting shit done (or at least, he is in James's experience and therefore mine lol), Li-Na is kinder and more forgiving, and then Rinka is just Full Jackass. Amazing.

Derek's AU is so different from what I would've ever expected, which is what makes it so cool to me! I love that he's in a very different stage in his life than he was in canon, and in a very different setting, and with a very different development that at first makes him seem, well...different, but you can still see the Malfoy in him.

Derek has somehow become someone James spends a lot of time with and I always love their threads. They're kind of volatile, in a way, which is really fun, because I never know how a thread will go until I'm there--are they gonna scream at each other? Is one of them gonna pull some real jackass shit on the other? I love the unpredictability of it!

Playing against Kara has been so fun!! Partially because she's got so many superpowers and James is eternally grumpy about it when she flaunts it hahaha but also because they're kind of similar characters and I kind of really enjoy watching them interact like that! Her offering to teach him mechanics last month and generally helping him out so much really got me feeling some shit last month. Thank you for indulging me with this wonderful CR!!

Man I don't really know anything about RE but your Wesker is such a delight to thread with and read. Even if I'm not directly tagging him, I read his threads sometimes and I love what a contrarian he can be relative to the general consensus/feelings everyone else in the game has. Also, I love all the villainous/borderline-villainous characters and watching them cope with their regains, and Wesker's experiences with them are so fun to read in part because I feel like he has such an individual response/take on all of them. It's just so fascinating to see!

One thing that's always struck me about your Matt is how much attention to detail you pay with things like how his abilities would apply in a given space, accounting for things like his screenreader not being able to parse images, and even legalese! My god, the legalese I've seen you parse through. I want to give you an award just for that much, because when I tried researching that shit I wanted to completely throw in the towel hahaha

ALSO i'm a real slut for secret identity shenanigans, so Matt's vigilante excursions were so much fun to play with and witness! I LOVE IT

honestly James and Togusa has been one of the highlights of being in this game for me!! Seeing them build up so much history in so many different contexts through.....so much of James's absolute bullshit.....has been an absolute delight and I'm so glad you've been on board for all of it somehow??? And still are? You also always write such great tags with so much material to respond with. I love seeing Togusa's thought processes in our threads and how it affects his actions, and I feel like there's always so much meat to his tags, like--they're just always very satisfying to read and respond to!

oh my god please, I love threading with Shinji! It's rare to see a character so young in a game that like...actually comes off that way in play? He's a really bright kid but he's still very obviously just a little kid and I love that it puts James in this more adult/protective role when he's so used to being the disaster child who has to be doted on himself jafi;ahg;h it's such a fun dynamic, thank you for making it happen....

ngl I wanted close CR w/ Togusa b/c I have such fond memories of watching GitS:SAC way back in 2005 on Adult Swim. It was the first time I realized anime wasn't just a medium for kids. Anime could tackle some really heavy subjects and that blew my mind. SO YEAH I WAS COMING FOR YOU FROM THE START \o/

But wow, Tatsuo and Togusa have completely exceeded my expectations and I love it. Thank you for allowing my goober to latch onto yours.

Getting to play off Noah really helped me recover my love of playing Lenalee (even if it's as Li-Na). Without you, I'd have left her safely tucked in her box on my dusty-muse shelf for who knows how long. And thank you for letting me chuck Li-Na at Elliot. It's a different dynamic, but it's still fun!

Haha, Li-Na has a very high level of bullshit tolerance, b/c she's remembered the staggering levels of bullshit Lenalee had to put up with. And that has somehow prepared her for James's levels. The PSL thread went in some interesting and unexpected directions ngl

You just pegged why I wanted to play Rinka so much. I didn't have a jackass character. I usually have at least one character who is prone to doing the most dumbass things, and Tatsuo and Li-Na are both too reserved and/or disciplined. And while Rinka is disciplined in certain ways, there is a side of her that is just like LET ME KICK YOUR ASS and will not be denied.

Thank you for letting me pester James with all my characters. It's fun seeing the different ways they interact.
