( this is actually not quite so bad, and though the beating of his heart seems nearly to stumble and pause as the roller coaster reaches its finest height and greatest loop, he's enjoying himself genuinely - even more so with wataru laughing loudly beside him. miai himself isn't as inclined to be so vocal, though he's very much beaming as they speed along the tracks - if it's a ride that takes your picture as you go, the image would likely be the very picture of joy between the both of them.
it's the downward descent that catches his breath with the sudden and unwelcome shock - his heart and breathing stopping short, remaining still even as the ride comes to an end. his body recalls to breathe - but can't - and he's stuck hunched over coughing into his fist—
