Honestly, the whole thing had been kind of nerve-wracking what with Ed trying to go toe-to-toe with Father and Al's armor so badly damaged that even the blood seal was in danger of being destroyed. Had Al not believed in his brother, it would have been downright frightening.
Al knows that his brother is kind of an idiot and not that great at certain things. So he does what Ed likely wants to but won't get around to doing because he's too busy sharing. Al leans in to wrap his arms around his big brother in a hug - as tight as he can get it. ]
