I both 100% believe and cannot believe that "teen jackass" is dirk's equivalent of bestie

James has been trying the past few years to be a good young man who doesn't get into trouble but like. being around dirk could easily just make him backslide into full-on jackassery. also i'm laughing at the idea of dirk recording all their bullshit to show to dave because james is like semi-friends, semi-accidentally-keeps-attacking-his-boyfriend with dave

THIS SOUNDS GREAT (i almost said hella sweet, good grief) but i should also add a disclaimer here that James is going the full reckless asshole and getting thrown in prison for attempted murder in a week or two, so like. even if we do have dirk and james be friends, they're not gonna be able to meet up in person for a while unless dirk visits him or he gets a chance to text him fejailf;ha
