I mean, I can see them wanting to wait for the manga to end before finishing things off, but it's like.... CLAMP also did the scripts for the anime..... why wouldn't they just make something roughly the same.....

But YEAH.... if Touya didn't like Xiaolang before, remembering him trying to push around his baby sister would NOT help things in the slightest (and then Xiaolang remembers Touya picking him up by the scruff of his neck like some sort of puppy and is unsure whether to be aggravated he treated him like that or relieved he stepped in)
