AU WORKSHOP - SEPTEMBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Eren there is no "honorary" about it, you're a Fairweather even if you aren't legally yet. But yes definitely. I'm not sure how long they've been together, or if he ever has the ability to go back to the farm for holidays, but if so she would have been one of many who basically adopted him from the get go.

And if not, I imagine she was introduced to him when she moved, because moving into a dorm takes an army sometimes. As long as he treats her cousin well, she will adore him.

That definitely sounds like a good plan tbh, and hilariously Hiro probably wouldn't even entirely notice that Xiaolang dropped off just a little because of Retrospec shenanigans. I imagine they still touch base now and then but not nearly as much so once Hiro's actually on the app he'd just be like "a h."

ONE OF THESE THINGS IS MORE SURPRISING THAN THE OTHER. God. They're going to be very cute friends, I'm really excited!

Probably the latter! Hiro doesn't often brag about his successes solely because he likes to keep that stuff close to the vest so he can keep doing it, rip. But he'd at least be willing to help flag Al for when there's the potential to get caught since that would be Bad For Everyone.

Levi...I think that actually would make this more interesting since Hiro doesn't hate people but he has a harder time connecting on a lot of occasions, so he'd probably recognize that in Levi and be...obnoxious, and follow up with him. I imagine that he probably met him once and decided it was interesting how prickly he actually is and continued loitering around to follow up and chat with him.

Depending on the work thing maybe Hiro met him there and just keeps going back to bug him tbh :|a

they’ve known each other for aboutttt six, seven years (???) and have been together for a year now!! they’ll also be engaged soon, so yes!!! whatever works more for your history, i’m pure game!!!

and if there is anyone who will extend himself on the floor for elliot to walk on, even when it’s clean, it is eren 👀👀👀👀👀 he’s very sweet if she is with him as well, especially if she’s family!!

Someone please save Derek though his former self sure was a bratty teenager himself, thanks Draco. That's totally plausible! Hiro likes to explore and he would be curious about new establishments/places he hasn't been to so TTB would be one of the places he'd pop into to see. Depending on how Derek treated him on first meeting I could see him coming back to see if Derek comes back and being amicable and at least pretending to listen to him (while actually absorbing what Derek says anyway.)

Hopefully she won't need a protecc or attac, but it's still greatly appreciated! She will protecc too, once she gets some of her abilities back.

I'll float the idea of bringing Eren to a family gathering with Elliot's player, because I think that could be super cute. She probably saw it coming a mile away.

But he's probably on the list of "send encouraging text messages daily/a few times a week" list for her, then! Also if he ever wants to plan any surprises for Elliot she is happy to help!

!! Luna and I have talked about Hiro and Syaoran/Xiaolang knowing each other in middle school and being part of the same kind of robotics/tinkering clubs and working on projects together, so I think he could definitely know Sakura by proxy? They're only about a year apart iirc so it's not that much of a stretch. He probably would think she's nice enough but still not entirely know how to talk to her because she's way too pure (but he'd be friendly enough with her, and it gives us something to work with for the future.)

Living together could be really cute! I was going to have her stay in the dorms for at least the first year, so if you do the same with Rayne, we have a bunch of options. Roommates? Floor mates? Possibly living in separate areas of campus? They're so far away this is weird!! There are tons of possibilities.

oh no i'm imagining a tiny sun jing as his lil buddy...c u t e!! i think they probably kicked it around the same playground since early grade school, but might not have got to really talking until like 11/12-ish? he was a pretty quiet/reclusive kid growing up, but that's about the time he started to be a little more outgoing and making closer friendships. (i bet they squabbled like hell when younger though. just would not give up his throne on the jungle gym.)

HERRO THERE VERY GENEROUS BRO! Which, can I be frank? I am very grateful for the suggestions because the idea of her having an adopted bro and family that is centered in medicine would be so good and a better idea than a political or military one. Gilbert and Hodgins would be so damn happy if they existed It'll definitely be helpful to have a healthy support system when her very dark regains come into play (like the loss of her hands in which they literally fall off).

So yes I am very open to this idea and will definitely be using it! Ione is going to love her family immensely because you are all good peeps! I'm thinking Momma Jaeger stopped the charities from stealing Ione's image without permission and just began the paperwork to adopt her asap. I'm scratching out the foster care and thwarted adoption attempts while giving her the family surname. Wren could just be her middle name.

What kind of relationship would she have with her brother? And yeah, what other details should I know to add to her AU history about the family?

so you're telling me he helped create this mess. perfect. this distance is to help her grow as a person and It Isn't Working. i don't think it helped that he brought her to his first dates with dudes and girls (he figured out later he didn't like them as much as he thought he did) during high school so she can judge his tastes/picks. she is the ultimate judge whether he dates them or not. YOU'RE NOT WRONG? They'd have a good time scavenging for stuff and I think I wrote in Hiro's blurb somewhere that he definitely upgrades the appliances in his house just for shits and giggles. (His poor sister...) I think he'd also ask Dirk to try and teach him parkour because it's right up his alley and he'd support Dirk's dumb ventures. Let's do it!
