[The Founder's Day was one of the busiest times of the city because it was one of its' biggest events in the year outside of the usual national and worldwide holidays. Every year it had something different to offer. At least, in Akane's point of view. There was always a new mystery popping up, one that rarely was given an honest explanation about. It was always the same: they would dodge the question by distracting everyone. Last year it was accomplished with a giant slide and other theme park rides, the year before that was a man-made giant skating ring for everyone of all ages to use and had an "exciting" show by the end, and before that was a fireworks display. And of course, these distractions never worked on her or Zero. Especially Zero. Every year they would always write a blog post about it accompany with all kinds of pictures and audio files to further prove it. There have been many plausible theories posted in that blog's comments, but with no proof to back it up it was difficult to determine which was the closest to the truth.
But one thing is for sure, she didn't trust the mayor and those surrounding him.
Akane was determine to find out the truth. This year, no matter what it takes, she will find the answer to her many questions concerning the mayor and the city. There was something about this city that had her feeling suspicious of ever since she moved there. She couldn't put her finger on it other than -- there was more to it than meets the eye.
It wasn't too hard to find Akane circling the area. Finding ways to get as close to the mysterious truck near City Hall as possible. Even if it means she has to go through fail attempts at sneaking around by being very obvious about it. Just to get an idea of the level of security. But at one point, she'll decide to walk up to whoever happens to pass by City Hall or were she thinks has done so.]
Hey! Do you mind if I ask you a quick question?
⚜ 03 - Felix Movie Theater
[Moments before she was able to investigate the mysterious of City Hall, she had an appointment with the Felix Movie Theater in the Tesse district. All of the student librarians were asked to help out with the movie marathon that was going to be showing on that day. The movies were property of the Recollé Library, which was owned by the university. Every year in the Founder's Day, it was borrowed by the movie theaters to celebrate the history of the city. A few years back, it was showcase at the university's auditorium, but due to popular demand the event had to be moved.
As much as Akane was itching to leave to investigate City Hall, she didn't mind volunteering as a way to obtain three of the following: 1) an alibi, 2) basic information about the city's history (which she checks its authenticity), and 3) obtaining information concerning the other districts of the city. The easiest way to gain all of that was by volunteering in this type of events.]
a) Here! [Out of nowhere a flyer will be given to whoever crosses her path.] We're having a special Founder's Day movie marathon today! Please. Come and join us, if you can...
b) [After she has given out all of her assign flyers, she was given an hour break, where she decided to use it to watch a few of the films that are part of the movie marathon. She was still wearing her uniform while typing down notes on her phone that she will research later. It won't be long until she continues to watch the movie in silence until she notices something odd about a certain someone sitting in front of her. Leaning a little close to the person sitting next to her, she'll whisper.]
Hey. I don't mean to alarm you or anything, but...do you see that person over there? [Pointing to the suspicious looking individual holding up their cellphone.] You don't think they're illegally recording this film, right?
⚜ 04 - BONUS
[As much as she dislike the idea of visiting coffee shops, supporting cooperate chains that may have secret agendas, Akane knew it was needed to visit them -- valuable information can be overheard. She will be quietly sitting down in one of the many seats in the shop, enjoying a blueberry muffin, when she notices something unusual on her phone: a strange new app. A thin line will be formed as she recognizes the name. It's the same name as the new secret cooperation that was rumored to have appeared over night. She had planned to make a mention of it on her blog as Zero until she gained more information about it. Seeing that the application was already on her phone, she decides to use it and finds that it is very similar to any other social media. The only difference though? She can use the application even without the internet.]
a) [Without thinking about it, she'll turn to the next person closest to her as she decides to ask them.]
Hey? Have you ever heard of this new social media site known as Retrospec?
b) [Testing to see if the new application on her phone was truly accessible without internet connection, Akane will leave a quick text post.]
Testing, testing, testing! 1, 2, and 3. Can anyone else see this other than me? (._.) ( l: ) ( .-. ) ( :l ) (._.)
