[Akira stares at Romani in silence, his lips drawn in a fine line while he mulls over his decision to accept the odd offer some more. He really, really doesn't know how to feel about it – after all, he's never been invited to do much of anything with anybody, really. Of all the things... Finally, Akira exhales through his nose and urges himself to quit dwelling on it. After all, it's his chicken, right?
That's when he's interrupted from his thoughts by Romani's peculiar declaration. Akira gawks at him before glancing down to his empty basket. The chicken......]
Mugged...?! That's impossible! [Akira points an accusing finger at Romani and towers over him with teeth bared, instantly assuming he must be up to no good.] Nobody came through here! I was watching, you knooow. You can't fool me...
[Ah. But Akira remembers seeing the package in his basket as he marched down the aisle, which means that Romani should have it... He lunges for his basket and rummages through it for himself, confirming that there is no chicken. And it doesn't look like Romani could hide a package of chicken on his person very well, right?
