This chicken would be the very first fresh protein I've had in months.

There's no reason to lie, especially when he's caught. He can also cook! Pretty well, too. He doesn't see why Akira should be so suspicious of him, but... He did try to trick Akira earlier. Unfortunately, he's not sorry at all. Rubbing his neck awkwardly, it's time to explain himself. ]

With my long hours at work, I seldom have time to cook for myself. For as long as I remember, I've lived off of instant noodles like I was some college student all over again except this cycle never ends.
