Stepping out into the road, the sound of a roaring engine from her car-which she'd made the mistake of attempting to pain-approached rapidly. "We have to work together, right?" Hopefully the stranger was prepared for this. Holding her own brush, point forward at arm's length, the occasional baby-blue drop falling slowly onto the road they stood upon. All Elizabeth could do now was hope that her impromptu ally was prepared for this.

With her car in check and many of the streets near the University tamed, Elizabeth was able to return to work. The fact she'd been called in at all stunned her, but apparently, classes had to continue no matter how difficult it might be for some students to attend. Which was why she made an offer, after the end of class-all the more important with the sun setting.
"I know most of you live nearby, but if any of are worried you'll have trouble getting home, I'd be happy to escort you." It was the least she could do, really, and considering most of the faculty didn't seem to think there was any real problem with what was happening, Elizabeth felt it was her duty to her students to help them stay safe.
