wait. that's disingenuous to say. it depends on how you look at it. that's the better answer.
most people are of the opinion that we're receiving memories from other versions of ourselves. as for the app's *role* in that, no idea. i can't say for certain if it's responsible for loss of memories, regardless of whether or not they belong to us, or if it's something else.
