[Genesis out at the park, volunteering to give people supplies such as flowers, shovels, etc to help replant and get rid of the dead shrubs. He would do it himself, but he currently sported a cast on his left arm and wasn't going to risk aggravated the injury any further. He wanted the cast off as soon as possible, so he went along with simply gathering the flowers necessary for planted, handing out potted plants as well, and shovels.
Thankfully, it wasn't a full arm cast, just over his wrist where the hairline fracture was. He was also wearing gardening gloves to keep the dirt away. Genesis brushed away a stray hair as he lifted the pot and handed it to a planter.]
Here you go, careful now.

[Despite being Irish himself, having an entire side of the family Irish, Genesis really did not enjoy celebrating St. Patrick's Day. It was far too commercialized in some aspects and he wasn't much of a drinker either. Granted, he understood the history of the holiday. It was celebrated in Ireland and was a lot more on the festivities than strictly partying and wearing green. Still, he didn't want to dissuade anyone was from celebrated.
But if you pinch him, you will get a smack right back. With his cast too. :|
That being said, Genesis wasn't out celebrating or trying to get those weird coins that were being handed out. He focused on his bookstore instead, The Open Book, and there was a chalkboard sign out to showcase the St. Patrick's Day display he had inside. Full of books that were either by Irish authors or about Ireland or anything to that effect. He also wore a pale green dress shirt that sort of clashed with his bright red cast that had several signatures and drawings on it already (including a Shamrock, thanks mom).
He also made various teas that were either flavored green teas or simply dyed green. Whatever the customer asked, he generally made and he welcomed anyone to sit at the various reading sections to relax and read or do homework or what-have-yous.]
Bonus.
[Someone is unamused.]
Being forced into a chat with a stranger is not how I imagined spending my Sunday, especially when texting is difficult enough for me as it is right now.
