AU WORKSHOP - MARCH Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. MAKO...... MAKO PLEASE...... although oh my god I am so here for her giving him all the unsolicited romance advice like GIVE THAT GIRL A BUNCH OF FLOWERS!!! LADIES LOVE FLOWERS!! and mold him into the ultimate shoujo love interest he was meant to be (and of course he would follow that advice to a tee.... BECAUSE HE IS ALSO A HUGE ROMANTIC.... though he will never say as much out loud because what are feelings, they're embarrassing)

Syaoran being her Usagi, that is a sentence I never thought I'd read-- but I was thinking about things earlier, and him just being quietly starry-eyed over her SUPER RAD FIGHTING SKILLS and wanting to join a karate class ASAP so he doesn't have to be in that sort of position again and be nearly as cool as Mako-senpai is just.... too cute, jfc?? Let this child idolize this badass lady, he could really go with a lot worse role models ok

TO THROW AT MAKOTO INSTEAD.... HM (probably not because playing a shonen protag here will probs kill me but I am so weak for YYH/SM things)

I just wanted to drive-by and say bless you and Len for making her siblings with Shirou, that was brilliant and made me laugh a lot.

I have Rin here! But she recently turned 20, so I'm not sure where there's room to know each other. But your concept seems really fun and I look forward to seeing you around, so that makes me want to brainstorm some ideas!

BEST I GOT THOUGH IS LIKE. Rin cycles through a lot of part-time jobs, so I could see her briefly working as a fill-in tour guide or something at the observatory. Cue Ritsuka in one of her groups on Rin's first day, who knows more than astronomy than she does. Don't mind if she kidnaps you for a cram session so she's prepared for the next group, right?

ALSO, like Sakura up there, Rin has memories of Shirou now (I laugh because... she has a lot of memories of Shirou now, not by design but because he just happened to be in a lot of memories that were easily triggered in last month's event, I WASN'T EVEN TRYING...) so if she sees him, she's naturally going to be curious, so there's avenue to CR there.

But it's also Rin, so she wouldn't actually be vocal about the fact she's seen him in her memories, so if you want a different avenue to CR we could explore that maybe? Like if he struggles in school, is there a particular subject he might be having more difficult with and could use a tutor on? /brainstorms 8|a

I saw your reply to our Sakura and Shinji players that you'd like to go no pre-established CR, which sounds fine to me!

Fun fact though, Rin actually already has a memory of Kariya. One of the first ones I ended up regaining for her due to a specific situation she was in was the one where he saves her in the alley from one of Caster's creepy-crawlies, SO. THERE'S THAT... She probably wouldn't recognize him immediately from said memory though, for obvious reasons.

I can offer multiple things off that list if it interests you. Namely this girl who:

- lives in a dump, but still has a really nice car. Frankly it's a miracle it hasn't been stolen already
- would absolutely chase him down on foot to get it back and then some, SHE NEEDS THAT
- probably would still talk to him afterwards or even let him couch surf depending on how things go, Rin's weird
- why would you want to, tho, she lives in a crappy basement
- came from a well-to-do family, so can be way too judgy
- fell into massive debt the moment she struck out on her own, so she isn't actually preachy

If you want them to know each other, I feel like some stupid shit where they originally met each other as part-time models would be the way to go. Mainly because Rin would do that for quick money never expecting to see anyone she ran into again, thus making it funnier running into someone she met from that in the halls art school.

I can't believe Tsukasa found himself two sugar suppliers in the form of bffs, what a lucky development! (Take that, gray-haired bully guy.) Maybe if he worries about his calorie intake after, they can go for a jog too. He forgot he needs to make a grocery run for coffee and a dozen boxes of macaroni!

Mitsuru might realize he's lying a little, but he's still surprised by how much Tsukasa loves sweets... At least the bread products are left for Mitsuru to inhale! Unless it's a sweet bread and the bgm for the Duel Event plays in the background.

The good thing is that Ben won't really be a violent criminal to just anyone. He only brings things to a bad impasse if it triggers his instincts since he was fairly well-trained as a kid. Soooo, he'll start off pretty friendly with Nero immediately even with the reality-tv thing not hanging around as the easiest trump card...

But, yes, he does need to have a friend(???) who'll treat him like the garbage he is :D

BLURB:

-Bastard son of a military officer, who probably abused him. His mom is either unknown or left them long ago. Either way, he grew up in a very strict household and probably didn't go out a lot.
-Was a good student that didn't cause problems, but he was often a loner. There was some bullying maybe, but eventually people just left him alone.
-He tried really hard to be a soldier to please his father still, but couldn't pass the tests and thus couldn't join the army. This further disappointed him.
-Luckily, he was really smart and got scholarships to a university and ended up getting a degree or two. MAYBE A COUPLE OF PHDS? He basically scored top honors.
-His father was still Not Impressed, but at this point he didn't care and just decided to become a professor because obviously everyone should learn from him. Also to just say 'screw you' to his father.
-He's the statistics professor or some science professor from Hell. Probably enjoys flunking students and seeing students cry or come in sleep deprived.
-At the very least, he does have open office hours to help with work. Mostly because he's required to.
-He's a miserable guy but somehow this is still better than how he is in canon.
-Still, who let this guy be in charge of a group of students??

LOOKING FOR:
-Current students that he teaches! HE'S PROBABLY THE PROFESSOR EVERYONE HATES because he gives so much homework, especially over the weekends. Study groups form because his tests are that bad. GOOD LUCK...
-Former students that probably want to murder him punch him, because they remember the horror... or maybe they liked him?? He's probably someone you learned a lot from at least.
-Fellow professors that either tolerate him or hate him, I'd like both!
-Drinking buddy?? Hux drinks and smokes here.
-Maybe some friends that are around his age, or at least adults. Hux is unfamiliar with having friends though. What is this.

OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: THIS IS PRETTY TENTATIVE but I'm interested in trying something like this out.
