AU NAME: Kuro Kiryu AU AGE: 22/23 idk that range AU OCCUPATION: Karate instructor at one of the many dojos, semi-ex-delinquent/punk BLURB: I'm not gonna lie to you, this is largely repasted from when I originally put him on the workshop, but with some minor tweaks.
★ Rec native, raised by parents who always had kind of a rocky relationship. ★ for the most part, had a fairly average childhood, although he was pretty proactive against bullies. ★ by proactive I mean he punched bullies rather routinely, even when they were bigger than him (not like that was for long tho). ★ wound up enrolling in karate to more or less help defend those that needed it? and also to work out some slight aggression probably. ★ somewhere in here a younger sibling (or two or three who knows) was likely born. ★ Kuro became utterly devoted to any and all siblings, like he was made for being a big brother.
★ and then shit went down. ★ mom got sick and it put some strain on the family, making things fairly tense for Kuro as his responsibilities increased. ★ because they always kind of had a rocky relationship, it won't come as much of a shock that Kuro's dad bailed on them when things really got rough. ★ to try and find the money and resources to help take care of the family, Kuro fell into a rough crowd in high school. started skipping classes, fell into delinquency, got into very much lot of trouble. honestly he hated himself during the entire stint, and kind of still hates himself for what he did. ★ and then mom died! whomp. ★ rather than let his family be split up, he uh. dropped out of high school and started working whatever jobs he could to actually support them. ★ this left Kuro effectively dropping off the face of the Earth, cutting contact with about 85% of the people he knew before all of this went pear-shaped.
★ after a while, he managed to kind of... get out of the shitpot by kicking it down. haven't fine-tuned how yet, but he did it. and now he's back on his feet and working for a dojo where he's actually happy while supporting the fam. he can reconnect with people! amazing!
★ also has a dog named Tora that he loves even if it's TOO ENERGETIC just like his canon kohai whoop.
LOOKING FOR:YOUNGER SIBLINGS!! Can I make this any larger without being obnoxious? Above all else, I really really want younger siblings (blood or half) because he's a non-creepy sistercon in canon and the big brother to ... everybody. I'll also accept teens and kids that he's just wound up adopting.
Also also, delinquents/punks/etc that he might have run with, at some point, during his teenage years that he still has connections with. People who maybe went to school with him before he dropped out aka dropped off the face of the Earth. Also maybe people in modeling/dance/entertainment/etc because he hung out with Nazuna ( pronounces ) and probably knew some by proxy, even if they hung out behind peoples' backs. OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: I'm really enabled and was back the last time I posted him, but the holidays and shit got in the way unfortunately.
