AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. I love Mimi and I love this, I think they would be really fun classmates and eventual friends? I think Maki would be a little surly and closed off at first but she also secretly tends to admire and gravitate towards people who are more charismatic than her— she needs people who are her opposite to get her out of her shell honestly.

Hello!! Being canon-familiar with Mimi I think that's pretty correct and Rise's original personality would mesh well with Mimi as well so it would be some really fun CR!

I like the idea of them being related as cousins, but I would like to just cross-check with the other members of Rise's AU family! Hinata Aoi from Ensemble Stars (livens) is her younger brother and they have a cousin, Miyamura Izumi from Horimiya (akatatai) who's about the same age as Rise and Mimi, and Hinata's sixteen iirc as well. Let me confirm with those players really fast and see if it'll pan out but I'm sure it'll be fine <3

It's okay, Mimi is nothing if not persistent, so Maki will find it difficult to shake this barnacle girl off. But honestly she also needs people who will call her on her actions when she's being to commanding or just assumes things for other people, so I think these two will be a perfect match for one another.

Also karaoke needs to happen sometime once they're friends, because I think this would be adorable.

I used to play Nanako way back in the day, and watched my husband play the entirety of Persona 5, so I have some familiarity with the source material. Just nothing about Persona 2.

OH MAN it's um...it's certainly a thing. I've played all of them and I still feel P2's storyline is the strongest (gameplay wise, it's very meeeeeh) but look, the protags (two games so two protags! One of them is a girl) both have canon names, and this is how you meet Eikichi:



Think Yosuke and Ryuji, mixed Kanji's size and strength, add some of Teddie's girl antics and then wrap it in a Death Arcana and you've got Eikichi.

(Yes Michel is his 'stage name' that I've turned into his birth name because I'm a terrible person)

- An evil Clown granting wishes (named Joker)
- Aliens, Nazis (I promise when the Nazis comes in, it makes sense somehow)
- You can have your dude date a dude
- This opening for the PSP re-release
- A sequel where you play adults (BOOZE! DRINKING! SMOKING! ADULT PROBLEMS! A creepy game opening!)

But yes it will be amazing, especially once he starts to regain his memories.

monika was also top of her class and takes her studies SUPER SERIOUSLY, so i think they'd really get along well on that front. i can def see a rivalry too, though heavier on the friendly part. given he's the kind of person to mean well with his intentions, megumi would pick up on that and be pretty sweet to him in kind, though she'd definitely tease him often if he got too ridiculous.

also she definitely subtly tries to manipulate him into doing what she wants with the debate club. LAUGHS it's never malicious or mean or anything like that, think more like ... she has a plan but phrases conversations so he ends up thinking it was his idea, things like that. up to you how effective it is!

HORROR STORIES. oh my god. she's the type who would think that was interesting, but definitely really morbid, and probably wouldn't be afraid to tell him so, LAUGHS. but she'd also hugely value it as a method of creative expression for him and encourage him a lot if she knew... it'd be awesome if she came across his work and they got to talking about horror and writing and things like that. what if they're acquaintances who have run into each other on campus a few times to chat about his work? that would definitely give us a springing off point to work from!

What are your thoughts on making these two childhood friends? She seems like the type of person that younger Mimi would have attached herself to, and depending on how long they've known each other, they could be absolute terrors.

Also you better believe Edna's outfits are going to be on point, that goes without saying. Mimi's not about to let a friend not look amazing, just saying.
