AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. Sociology major here... in undergrad. Age 21, junior and part-time student. Would have quite likely have had him as a teacher at some point. Or currently or whatever depending on what level he can go at here.

Honestly, Kouhei hasn't met anyone who could sign since he came to Recolle, so I'm sure he'll form a connection with Shigeru right away. They can be excited together!

- Was adopted at a young age, and does not remember his biological parents/family
- Attends University on a gymnastics scholarship and is studying fashion design/marketing and has a small apartment
- Super friendly and upbeat, always wants to make friends!
- He loves making people smile, especially children (totally not in a creepy way)
- He enjoys practicing his fashion designs with the local theatre groups and drag-queens (or anyone who honestly asks and is willing to model his stuff and indulge him, please let him help make you a halloween costume)
- He can come across a bit ditzy, but is very earnest and always willing to help
- He loves playing any type of game, from video games to hide and seek
- He loves texting and writing letters
- He is very allergic to certain foods, and wears an allergy patch at all times. He chooses to put it on his cheek
- He hates the doctor and medical needles
- He is a fan of and collects items relating to cute mascots or show characters

Oh man either or. He probably does a fair cross-section of undergrad from 101-102 through a few more advanced less introductory offerings, if only because the faculty thinks he'll scare off all their new students if they give him all the Freshman courses.

yes absolutely!!! maki herself is really hesitant about like, actually connecting with people past the virtual realm so having someone a bit older and in the same field that she can warm up to and have some kind of meaningful friendship with would be great

god i think rise would be one of her few online buddies that she actually gets close enough to share her actual name with and hit up on retrospec? since i think with a good portion of her online friends she does not give out any identifying information.

i hope they are just online friends forever, even after trading real names and chatting on retrospec and both just put off meeting in person because its weird and scary (but also pls give me an eventual awkward first meeting irl thread)

that works for me! from what it looks like i've basically settled on maki growing up in recolle and also being sibs with kuro over here! considering what their family situation is like i think it would make sense that they sort of didn't keep in touch with their extended family as much?
